Friends of the Festival

In 2006 a group known as “Friends of the Aboyne and Deeside festival” was formed. Its primary remit is to encourage interest in activities during the festival and to foster a friendly nucleus of it’s supporters. Members are sent a Festival program and they then have a short period to make bookings for events before tickets go on general release. There is a Members reception before or after one of the scheduled theatre performances. Members are alerted to other events during the year out with the Festival period and these may be linked to informal social occasions.
